oles are transported to the plant by our own logging trucks for selection and sizing.
Our yard supervisor sizes poles and checks for moisture content percentage. Poles are then cut to the selected sizes and stacked. If poles are below the moisture content requirements they are re-stacked in separate areas for further drying. Once an order has been placed, the poles are cleaned of any excess bark and knots, inspected and then the tops are cut to the client’s specification. The gang nailing, drilling and scarfing is also carried out at this time.
